Here are just some pictures that I have taken over the last week or so...

Having dinner at Papa and Grandma's...

Can you see his teeth??!!

I think he's seen Great Grandpa Hamilton sleeping like this before?!!

We went and had lunch with Shane yesterday out at the base...he loves HATS, or at least I like to think so!

Almost 8 Months Old Update

Where has the time gone!? We no longer have a baby that sleeps all the time and stays in one spot! He is all over the place! Since the last time I updated you all so much has changed!
Waiting for Daddy!!

Old Sacramento

The comings and goings of Luke!!
Luke will be 8 months old on the 9th!!
He is crawling!!
He is all over the place and into everything!
He has two bottom teeth!
And he is pulling himself up! People say he may be an early walker, I am praying he doesn't walk until after the cruise!! I don't think I could handle a walker on a moving ship!!
Everywhere he goes he is on the hunt for something to pull himself up on.
As soon as he hears the bath water (daddy gives him a bath every night) he is practically running (crawling quickly) down the hall to get there. And he waits so patiently!

If you look closely you will see the two baby teeth!!

This last month we have been going like crazy.
The first weekend in November, Shane's PapPap came to visit us. We had a great time! I think we were all pooped by the end of the weekend.
While he was here we visited Old Sac and the Railroad Museum. I will post pictures below.

The next week Luke attended his first football game! GO YCHS Freshmen!! They played the rival YC school River Valley and won!

We also had dinner with the Skinner Family and watched Caitlin and Conner in their play Peter Pan. And had a great time! Luke shrieked with excitement the whole time!

Then we have Thanksgiving week which was a crazy time! We headed out to the base for a Thanksgiving Feast with Shane's Squadron! And boy was the food good! Luke especially enjoyed the Pumpkin Pie!!

Thanksgiving Day we participated in the Run for Food, benefiting the Jesus Center in Chico with our family. Then off to IHOP we went for our annual "after run breakfast", then headed to Grandpa and Nana's for Thanksgiving. It was a full house this year!

The day after Thanksgiving, Dad and I continued with the tradition of "BLACK FRIDAY"!! We were nuts!! We didn't have any idea (this year) what we were shopping for, all we knew was that the DVD's were anywhere from $2.00 to $9.00 and we wanted to get them!!

6 Month Check Up

On the 9th Luke celebrated his 6 month birthday! I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by! It seems like yesterday he was just born!

He is definitely starting to show HIS personality! And he is so fun! His latest discovery is screeching, he thinks it is the greatest thing. It is definitely ear piercing.

He is also getting close to crawling. He gets up on his hands and knees, but at the moment just rocks back and forth.

Luke has started eating more solid foods, so far he has tried carrots, green beans, butternut squash, sweet potato, peaches, pears and banana. He seems to LOVE food! I wonder where he gets that from!

We had his 6 month check up on Tuesday, he is now weighing 17 1/2lbs and he is 26 3/4 inches long. The doctor says that he is absolutely perfect! For height he is in the 75th percentile! Unfortunately, he had to have 5 vaccinations while we were there, 4 were shots and the last one was a liquid/oral form. He was not happy at all about the shots, but we did well, especially since this was the first time Daddy did not go with us!!

Here are a few pictures from the last week or so...

This is the determined look...

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

Today, we went to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland with Grandma and Pappa! And we had a ton of fun! It was definitely chilly and started to rain when we were leaving, but it was so much fun! We cannot wait until Luke can really enjoy it!

Here are some pictures from our day!

This little piggy was in the maternity ward!
About to have baby piggies!!

Luke and I with the donkey! We were petting him, but he is so use to being fed, he kept trying to nibble on Luke's legs and feet!!

Mother Goose!!

Mr. Piggy

The baby goat wanted in the picture too!! That's why Shane and I are standing funny!!

And here is the baby goat...he loved the camera

Papa, Grandma and Luke getting ready for the pig races!

And there the pigs go! The race was over so fast!

Well, this picture below isn't exactly how I wanted it to turn out, but I guess for "beginners" it will do! Next year it will be better!

The 3 of us in the "Cool Bus"

We are headed home, but had to have a "picture" moment!!

After a long day, he falls asleep the minute we get in the car

It's Fall...

Well, I haven't posted in quite awhile, so we have a ton of catching up to do! But now that Luke has become more mobile I am on my toes all the time!

Here are some pictures to show you what we have been up to this past month or so.

We have a mover on our hands!!

 He got caught red handed!

He has his own "big boy" chair now! And he loves it!!

I have been making homemade baby food for Luke and below is his first sampling!! Carrots at Grandma's house!

And as you can tell, he loved them!

He can sit up on his own!!

And his newest food is GREEN BEANS!! And he loves them too! Although the reaction on his face is priceless!

Luke's 4 Month Check Up

Well, after all our traveling Luke had his 4 month check up on August 19th! The doctor says he is doing absolutely wonderful and he's perfect (but we already knew that)!

He is weighing a little over 15lbs (which is the 50th percentile for his age)  and his height is 26 1/2 inches long (90th percentile for his age, not sure where the height comes from).

He also had his 2nd set of shots at his appointment! Definitely went better than the first time, but still hard! I ask Shane to go with me, because I just can't hold him down while they give them to him, it's to hard!

Luke is talking like crazy, his giggle is absolutely contagious! I love to make him laugh. He has started eating rice cereal (although the doctor wanted me to wait, but he's a hungry boy and loves food like his daddy) and he loves it, but he doesn't really enjoy the oatmeal cereal!

He can now roll all the way over and is starting to scoot! I have a feeling he is going to be an early walker, he hates sitting still he always wants to be going!

Luke is amazing! We truly are enjoying every minute of everyday!

Here are a few pictures of him over the last few weeks! He entertains me all day long!
