Luke Update

Well, Luke will be 3 weeks old on Wednesday...he is doing fabulous!! He is growing like crazy and changing every day! At his two week check up he had already gained 6 ounces, so now he is weighing in at 8lbs 6oz...

He is getting stronger by the day, he is doing well with holding his head up (I say it's because he was so overcooked!) and I think he smiles often!

An attempt to give him his first bath...failed, he fell asleep before we could even get him in the tub...so we (mom and I) just let him sleep in it...we might consider this his new bed because he slept so well in it!!

He's Here!!

Luke David has finally arrived! He made his appearance on Wednesday April 9th at 9:32 PM, weighing 8lbs and he is 21 3/4 inches long!! He is absolutely beautiful. We are all doing well. Tired, but loving every minute! Here are a couple pictures. I will post more later on.

Baby Update Week 41

Well, today I had my week 41 doctors appointment and it went well...Dr. says baby sounds good and everything is progressing...he said that he believes I will go in to labor on my own either tonight or tomorrow, but if nothing has happened by Wednesday morning at 6AM I am to call the Labor and Delivery Department at the hospital to prepare for my induction later that day...so we can all pray that Luke decides to make his appearance on his own, but if not he has received an official eviction notice for Wednesday!!
But we will keep you posted if anything changes...

Baby Update Week 40

Well, as most of you probably know Luke is overdue!! The doctor said (as of yesterday) that there hasn't been much progress and he thinks it will be another week before Luke makes his appearance. Obviously this child of mine already has a stubborn mind of his own (obviously he gets that from his father)...
If there is any change I will definitely let you all know...but unfortunately it looks as if he wants to be an April baby...
Hopefully by next week it will be an update of his birth, but we will continue to wait as patiently as we can for his appearance.
