Luke's 4 Month Check Up

Well, after all our traveling Luke had his 4 month check up on August 19th! The doctor says he is doing absolutely wonderful and he's perfect (but we already knew that)! 

He is weighing a little over 15lbs (which is the 50th percentile for his age)  and his height is 26 1/2 inches long (90th percentile for his age, not sure where the height comes from). 

He also had his 2nd set of shots at his appointment! Definitely went better than the first time, but still hard! I ask Shane to go with me, because I just can't hold him down while they give them to him, it's to hard! 

Luke is talking like crazy, his giggle is absolutely contagious! I love to make him laugh. He has started eating rice cereal (although the doctor wanted me to wait, but he's a hungry boy and loves food like his daddy) and he loves it, but he doesn't really enjoy the oatmeal cereal! 

He can now roll all the way over and is starting to scoot! I have a feeling he is going to be an early walker, he hates sitting still he always wants to be going! 

Luke is amazing! We truly are enjoying every minute of everyday!

Mommy and Luke's Trip to Mississippi

On Wednesday, July 23rd, Luke and I boarded an airplane and headed off to see Aunt Kristen, Uncle T (Jonathan) and MiMaw (Kristen's mom). He did so well on the flights! He slept almost the whole first leg of our journey (although that flight was only 1 1/2hrs), we then switched planes in Dallas and continued on our way with a 3 hour flight...he did so well the whole time, everyone said he was great!

For those of you who don't know...Kristen (at the time) was 9 months pregnant and we were going out for her baby showers for that weekend! It was great to see her! I have missed her so!! While we were there we were able to see Baby James Emerson through an ultrasound and that was amazing!

Well, since we have been home Kristen has had baby James!! He was born on August 11th at 8:05 P.M., he weighed 7lbs and he was 21 inches long! Here he is!!
