As our friend Brian said, this look is absolutely priceless...I think he's tired of the camera!!

2 Month Check Up

Today was Luke's 2 month birthday...and of course he had his 2 month check up...

His day started out wonderful...he spent the morning with Pappa while mom and grandma went to the gym...we came home he took a little nap and had a bath...and then it all went downhill from there!!

We took him to the doctors for his appointment (I am happy to report that he is GROWING!! He now weighs 12lbs 3 oz and is 23 3/4in) and he had to have 3 shots (and the nurse accidentally scratched him with the needle after the shot was injected, he's a big kicker...she said she did not anticipate such a young baby to be such a big/strong kicker...needless to say next time she will have to hold his legs down!) and an oral vaccination!!

So needless to say he has not been a happy camper, but the doctor says he looks absolutely perfect! Below are some pictures of the battle wounds! I meant to take pictures of the "before" and "after" but I just got to busy and only got the "afters" I hope you enjoy!!

Week 8

We haven't quite been able to descibe what he is thinking in this picture, but we love it!!

As of today, Wednesday June 4th, Luke is 8 weeks old...it is absolutely crazy how fast time has flown by...but we are truly loving every minute we get to spend with him and watch him grow. We have been so blessed!! He is our pride and joy...

It is hard to believe that it has been two months since he has arrived. He is growing like crazy and just changing by leaps and bounds...

This was taken in Subway after church...as you can tell he is disgusted with our choice in lunch!! He was hoping for In-N-Out Burger!!

Luke enjoyed his first movie last weekend!! He went to see the new Indiana Jones (but he didn't see any of it!!)...he slept the whole entire time...it was amazing...at first we were worried, but we soon discovered it didn't bother him one bit...and he can still hear!!

On Monday, I layed him down for his nap (on his tummy) and when I went in to get him up, he was on his back!! I was so excited...he rolled over on his own...YAY for Luke!! When he saw me standing over the crib, he had the look of pure satisfaction on his face, like he knew he had done something amazing!! That was an exciting moment for me!!

He is sleeping longer at night, his bedtime is about 8:00 or 8:30 (but as I type this it is 9:15 and I can hear him on the monitor talking to himself) and he usually sleeps until 3AM, but lately he's been sleeping until 4:30, YAY for mom!! Although I do wake up in a panic, thinking "why hasn't he woken up yet?"
